The blog title is a reference to Anne Lamott's book Traveling Mercies: Some Thoughts on Faith. I've been reading it this summer. I'd been trying to think of what to title our little Taylor travel blog, and when I read the quote above it seemed perfect. Anne Lamott is a fantastic storyteller, irreverent at times but humbly awed by God.
We'll soon be off to Europe. The countdown is now somewhere less than two days.
